O.K. all you fans waiting with baited breath!!!

It's NOT the S9000, it's probably not Netscape.

I finally did some deep thinking! (yeah, I know, causes headaches)

The problem ONLY shows up when receiving data from eBay.
Back on the Wintel box/LINUX, Mozilla was complaining of 'script errors'
when viewing search results at eBay.

MAC 9.1 Netscape 4.7 & 4.8, the problem manifests itself as short term 'freezes'.

Fired up a PowerComputing PowerCurve 601 with I.E. on it. Problems
loading/viewing the eBay stuff.
Loaded Netscape 4.7 --- same 'freeze' problem.

So, the culprit i.e. eBay's scripts --- They are probably using the
'latest & greatest' (tm) from Microsoft. And the older browser/viewer
software doesn't like the 'newer' version of the 'scripting'.

Just FYI

I was a diehard Netscape user for many years. As you've found it no longer works correctly with some sites. Internet Explorer was by far the best browser for OS 9 by time I quite using it over two years ago. icab also was working well but not sure how it is now. Will S
