Hi Elliot, It is a good thing you are tenacious. This is what it takes to get around startup problems. With all kinds of advice and technical explanations one tends to neglect obvious solutions. You have done so many things I can't remember them all. You may have looked at all of the following, but it never hurts to ask. Did you try a different monitor or otherwise check yours to see if it functions? Same for the video card. Have you checked the reset button (the one on the front of the s900 just above the logo) to see if it is stuck in the on position? Have you taken all of the RAM chips out of the computer and tried starting up using only the soldered in RAM? Have you substituted a different mouse for the one you are using? Have you disconnected all external inputs to the computer (SCSI, USB, Firewire, serial etc.) before trying suggested fixes?
