Okay, I've missed some of these "screen of death" posts,so ignore me if this
isn't applicable.

On my S900, running OS10.2.8, sometimes I get this. When it happens I have to
force it to boot in classic by holding down onee of the keys. I'm not sure,
but I think it is the option key. When I get back into OS 9 I can use
XPostFacto to boot back into OS10. I don't remember what system you said you
were running.

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but you did reseat all your
PCI cards to make sure they have clean contacts? Remove the screw, pull
the card out, push it back in all the way, replace the screw? If one
card isn't seated properly it could be affecting the others, I believe.
