Boy, I'll say!

I think I tried both inits, but I don't remember. All but one of these
excursions were started
around 9 or 10PM and would last until 1 or 2 AM...the only time I had available
to try and figure
out the problems. One of which was I couldn't get either version of CPUD to
work in the first
place with or without the card on my main S900. Even after a clean intall of
the OS and using only
base extensions and the CPUD init. Oh, and, for what it's worth, PL support did
say that 1.5f6 is
the right version for my machine. Come to think of it I may have tried init 2.1
rather than 2.0b1.

Perhaps I could put in my old PL card in my second box and see where it lets me
do that. But will
this slow the (new) card down? Not much point in spending 2 Ben Franklins on a
1 GHz card if it
won't run at 1 GHz.

I did get the software to open on my second S900 with my old card, but when I
put the new card in,
all I got was a black screen.

I think I'll try a replacement card first and see what luck I have. I'll try
your suggestions if I
run into problems again. But I won't spend more than one evening fooling with
it. Honestly, it
just shouldn't be this tough getting the product work.

Thanks.
