Well, I can tell you this;  A real issue is that SM 2 creates brand
new sub-folders with new default pop account folders when importing
the SM 1.x email.  So if you didn't look in the SM v1.x  Account
Settings Manager and click Server Settings and then note the Local
Directory Location and see which original folder name applied to each
pop account folder then yes SM2 made a different folder name.  Thus
copying the folders directly to the SM2 folders placed the emails in
the wrong folders.

The work around in the SM 2 profile, is to delete all of the files and
folders in each pop account  folder but leave the pop account folder
empty and then copy the correct files and folders from the SM 1.x mail
pop folders to the new ones.  This will make sure that they are
displayed in the correct account.

I suggested a solution but at this point I am being ignored.
