Those problems that lead to corruption should be less in the new code we're using in SeaMonkey 2.0, from all we know, and we're working on improving that situation further in the future.
From all we know, using 2.0 is safer in terms of profile data than 1.1.18 - that is, once your data is migrated over, which works fine for many people, but unfortunately not everyone. :-/
