Not true, the plan was to come to a more rapid, ideally roughly 6-month release cycle so that updates to newer releases means fewer changes for users and so an easier upgrade path. And I still think this is the right way to go, but we are somewhat dependent on the rease cycles of the platform, as we'd like to sync up with platform releases more in the future.
