You probably mean SM 1.1.18. If not, you should probably consider upgrading your 1.1 version to 1.1.18. To launch SM 1.1.X and have it open the Mail & Newsgroups windows, just pass it the -mail command line option, as in: C:\seamonkey-1.1\seamonkey.exe -mail where C:\seamonkey-1.1 is the directory where SM 1.1.X is installed. Note that you generally can't have both SM 2.X and SM 1.1.X running at the same time, so make sure you manage this (or look into the command line options needed to make this possible).
