Now I need to learn how to make the items listed under Go on the 2.0.3
mail page turn black.
I have no idea what this means. Perhaps you don't have your e-mail or
newsgroup accounts setup in your 2.X profile yet?
I hope I can make sense out of this for you. On 1.1.18 Mail window I
can click "Go" at the top of the screen (the line just under the blue
banner)and see the following:
Next >
Previous >

Mail Start Page

etc.
All are in black letters except Mail Start Page, and that entry is in
gray letters. The same listing is visible in 2.0.3 but the only items
in black letters are Next and Previous--all other entries are gray
letters. I need to know how to make the gray letters in 2.0.3 black so
that I can click on them to make them take me to the items clicked.
That is how it now works in 1.1.8.
When I click Edit>Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings... on the 2.0.3 mail
page, I see all of my accounts listed. Thus, the account information
made the migration okay---but it appears to be turned off in the "Go"
area. Does this make sense?
I hope this clarification will help--if now, let me know and I will try
again.
Also, I am not finding the setting that I need to fix so that
downloading messages to 2.0.3 will not remove them from the server.
Thanks for the continued help.

I think I found the critter that is causing my problem. Each of the
accounts in 2.0.3 are pointing to:
Local Directory
C:Documents and Settings\Frog\Application
Data\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\Profiles\x1pcx8dh\Mail\Local Folders
I believe this entry (in 2.0.3) is pointing to a location in 1.1.18.
That is not where it should be pointing. Now, if I am right, I need to
figure out where it should be pointing in 2.0.3.
