It's just that we cannot possibly allow our users to have an IRC client running at work. Due to several management decisions we're running a pretty restricted user management policy around here, and only provide users with the applications they actually need. And neither Composer nor IRC are part of that, so we really need to disable them. It'd be enough if I could simply remove the buttons on the bottom left.
