Yes, unfortunately, plugins don't tell us their version usually, and Mozilla also doesn't know all the plugins that actually do exist, so that site only has checks for a very specific set of plugins that we know are used often enough and that somehow report us a useful version (Adobe Reader for example is used a lot but doesn't tell a useful version).
