Thanks, I fully understand that... and most newsreaders offer that option. I will endeavor to resume selective relevant quoting here.
It took me years to find and discover the power of Mozilla's "threads with unread" ...which hides all messages related to threads that don't have current posts, while allowing instant access to all prior messages within the threads that have new posts giving fast and accurate reference to the entire thread.
