I just now tested it in "satellite" mode. I was able to zoom in to where I could see plumbing vents on the roof of my own house. I was actually able to tell from what I saw in my back yard that the image dates back to late 2007 or very early 2008. There was no freeze or other problem. No, I did not spoof another browser.
