Many of the Linux versions look just like a MS or Apple distro - so the transition is pretty painless ... except for MS and Apple losing market-share! I will *never* have to spend a dime upgrading hardware because an OS vendor makes code changes. I will never understand anyone who gives away control of their finances to a corporation like that.
