Again: much much less than having multiple windows open does.
The last version of SM 1 and all of the current 2.0 series, I have been having problems with loading pages in the browser section. Often timing out.
Camino Omniweb, and Opera, I can although capable of tabs, I have set for windows instead of Tabs and same page load almost instantly.
I don't have such a problem, nor does anyone I know. Methinks this problem is on your end.
