Louis, I do not have a Trash folder on my Local Folders account just
one on my Mail account...Why did you make your Junk folder as a
Sub-folder of your Trash folder?? I'm guessing the first time you
empty your Trash Folder, you will also lose your Junk folder.

When I created the Junk folder, I probably did not pay attention to what
I highlighted on the left. Since I can confirm that the folder contains
"Junk" from parties from whom I do not want to hear, I can probably
empty and eliminate that Junk folder. Correct?

As I suggested, just emptying your Trash should get rid of your Junk file, then you can create a new one in the right place, if you want a junk folder at all!
