You want the Java SE 7u2 JRE, not the JDK.
Just click the red Download button under JRE.

Thanks, guys. I've got even bigger problems so this new new laptop may
be going back and I won't have to worry about that for now. Win7
display options do not allow 800x600 resolution in full screen mode, and
I spend too much time on my laptop to squint at that miniscule text all
day. :(
