Hi, I am running 2.12.1 x64 under (OpenSuse) Linux.
When editing html documents I frequently switch to the "<html> source" view and update directly. Starting some time fairly recently (a month or two back), Clicking Find and Replace or CTRL+F does not cause anything to happen. Then I play around with the document a bit more and it works again. When I say "does not cause anything to happen" I mean that the "Find and Replace" menu simply does not appear.
Clicking "Save" to save the current version does not make any difference and is actively dangerous if the current version contains invalid html which I am trying to repair.
This problem may not be restricted to Linux or the "<html> source" view, that is just where I do most of my editing.
