I ran a plugin check (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/) and saw the message,

        Missing JAVA?

        For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of
        Java. Please upgrade to the latest version.

So I clicked on the "upgrade to the latest version", downloaded jre-7u10-linux-i586.rpm and installed it. When I restarted SeaMonkey, I found that it still didn't have Java operational.

I do have in /usr/local/seamonkey/plugins the link

       libnpjp2.so -> /usr/java/latest/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so

That's the one that works with Firefox.

Is it possible to get Java to work with SeaMonkey yet?

Thanks,

Craig
