I've never used Windows for any SM so I honestly have no clue, and would
follow Larry's advice.

For OSX it's in: HD/Users/ME/Library/Application
Support/SeaMonkey/profiles/something.default/chrome

back in Mozilla Suite and Old SM 1.n it was in:
HD/Users/ME/Library/Mozilla/profiles/something.default/chrome

needless to say, knowing all that made going from old Moz to old SM to
new SM quite easy years ago.

I looked into this today, Geoff, and in their infinite wisdom, the devs decided to do away with the user chrome in Windows beginning with v2.1, and replace it with something called places.sqlite.

If I had more time, and/or the inclination, I might figure out how to hack that, but I have neither at the moment. So, since I save everything, I dragged my heavily customized Chrome folder into my profile, and it worked!

I now have not only my square throbbers, but the tiny ones on tabs and menus. All my other prefs are present too. All this spells Success for this upgrade.
