Your solution give the opportunity to install ... but i prefer download
first - collecting what i need in a directory on my disk - used to
install the new version.
'Save Link Target As' from the context menu does not work for you?

Yes, but i had this thing in memory .... Trying to download the langage
xpi file
i was on http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/#langpacks i clicked
on "French" instead of Right-clicking :-)
Anyway
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/ was far
more simple, and it's still ok for FireFox and Thunderbird.
