On rare occasions, a reinstall of Seamonkey can be useful, for
correcting corruption of program binaries, or if you're a Windows user,
possibly fixing a registry entry. However, for the vast majority of the
time, it's a waste of time and effort, as reinstalling (even if you
uninstall first) normally doesn't delete your user profile.
More specifically, it *never* deletes your user profile. Good thing,
too, as most people don't bother doing backups.
