it's been a long time since I've tried to do an uninstall, and I didn't
remember if Seamonkey offers an option to purge user data or not. I
believe that Firefox and Thunderbird do.

Yeah, the Windows uninstaller may offer the option of deleting user
data. It won't delete user data automagically, though. On the Mac, you
need to manually delete the profile (which I prefer).
