This all started with the ugrade to 2.26.1 prior to that all was
fine .
Toggling network auth in about:config from False to true seems to have
corrected the problem
Disreguard the above statement,,, it did not actually fix it .
My password manager , had 2 entries for the same email address ( both
identical) for yahoo.com..
I deleted one of them and so far with 3 reboots, it no longer asks for
the password
