This is using smtp.att.yahoo.com and my sbcglobal account
@question: I have both (note my email address) & have not had any issues
since upgrading to 2.6.1. It sounds like your master password may have
been corrupted? You might try resetting your master password to see if
that resolves the issue.
That seems to be a pretty radical suggestion. Resetting the master
password would cause all stored passwords to be lost. The user is only
having trouble with one account, so maybe a flamethrower approach isn't
yet warranted.
Where on earth did you come up with that from?
I change my master passwords on a regular basis (in Windows and Linux)
and have yet to loose a password as a result. I just done the same in
2.26.1 and 2.27 (Windows and Linux) and surprise surprise, all of my
passwords are still working just fine.
Changing the password =/= resetting the password. From the Master
Passwords dialogue:
"If you reset your master password, all of your stored web and e-mail
passwords, form data, personal certificates, and private keys will be lost."
That seems pretty clear to me.
