Maybe the problem only occurs with French localization of SeaMonkey. The problem with the accentuation only occurred since version 2.26. I got French localized version from <http://frenchmozilla.sf.net/> I apologize if I've been a little irritated. I was really angry about SeaMonkey 2.26, because I thought something was corrupted. It's not.
