1. Everybody here say, when someone ask for a correction, that Composer
is dead BUT enhancements are not dead ??? In my opinion Corrections of
bugs are more important than New-Features.

It's dead in the sense that nobody regularly writes code for the
Composer component any more. A *volunteer* with an itch to fix something
important to their selves wrote the above patch. I doubt that he's
interested in fixing anything else in the Composer codebase. We call
these: drive-by fixes/patches.

So here we have an unlikely combination of someone with an issue they
want fixed, and who also has the knowledge to fix it.

Do many people even use Composer?

Me, it has just the level of capability I need to create a tree structured bunch of pages connected by links. Don't need vast fancy things, just want to be able to make something which will build usable pages, in a way faster than typing HTML in vi.

A simple, easy to use, portable tool is irreplaceable.

We are not out of the woods yet, but we know the direction and have
taken the first step. The steps are many, but finite in number, and if
we persevere we will reach our destination. -me, 2010
