I had a similar problem. I finally walked around it that I entered
the FQDN and port imap and smtp server to the Navigator part of
SeaMonkey. There appears a window with the possibility of storing
exceptions...
Could you please explain it more detaily?
I tried through Navigator window, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
I'm trying to set up new profile with imap account and there is no way
to add security exception for the imap server.
