As I said, I entered into the SeaMonkey Navigator urlbar FQDN of my
IMAP/SMTP server (mail.XXX.cz:993 and mail.XXX.cz:465). Then was opened
a window, where I could allow an exception for a certificate (which was
not possible from MailNews part, because the buttons are shadowed and
inactive [similarly, as in your case]).
I'm sorry if this workaround does not work in your case (Perhaps also
affects that in my case on the same FQDN runs and webmail? I'm not sure)...
