Got the mail files out of the profile tree.  Then you can have as many
profiles as you want and they all point to the same mail files, or to
separate mail files as you chose.

The app, the profile, and the mail are different modules and can be
managed separately.  One thing that provides is a system where multiple
people can use a single machine, and a single SM installation, while
each have their own profile.  And they can chose to share some mail
accounts and not others.
