None of those bug reports have anything to do with the compose window,
and the problem there is with function, not colour.
The first bug is regarding theming of the folder pane and the message
list pane. The second is about page info, which does not apply to
newsgroups or email. The third is about style in messages, not
composition. The fourth is about mouse target area.
