If SeaMonkey saved a draft automatically on every canceled message I foresee a

of folks with burgeoning draft folders...
The problem is not "saving" or "not saving" the problem is that when a send
operation
is cancelled, the mail must be still present and displayed permitting another
try to
send.

I don't recall ever having to "cancel" a send operation, and still would like
to know
what is a n=message. Newsgroup message?
Maybe the news server had a problem. Isn't there a Retry or Save option when a
send
operation fails?
Retry=may be - Save=I don't know :But after a certain time, the op did not
want to
pursue, and cancel the last try ... ending with tha fact that the message
disappeared
...with the cancel operation.
I just done a test with a mail - the cancel operation let the mail on the
screen - so
nothing is lost. I had wrongly believed the OP.
You need to get an error first.
I have the same problem with SM mail and have learned to use Notepad to compose
anything more than one line then paste into SM mail and send.
