Don Spam's Reckless Son: >Are you now trying to debug Seamonkey or your Linux setup?
I am trying to determine if on a Linux which uses pulseaudio a SM-2.57 built with # ac_add_options --disable-pulseaudio ac_add_options --enable-alsa has a working sound. There should be a lot of such Linuxes in the wild because many distributions now use pulseaudio. AFAIK. I know it should work on a Linux using alsa. At least it does for me. To answer the question myself, I would have to install such a distribution. So I am hoping that there is someone curious enough to take the test. It is possible. ;) >The obvious question being if sound works for other applications No. The question is if this specific 2.57 has sound as well on alsa as on pulseausdio.
