Yeah. The problem is there is no decent replacement unless you are a fan of so called modern UIs. Fx is becoming a joke anyway and drags TB down with it too. Some big entity should take away the Chromium engine do a hard fork, set up a council and make sure that things like manifest V3 never happens or only in a way not harming extensions. Dream on...

Anyway SM is not done yet. 2.53 now has around 1500 patches compared to the latest 56 based 2.53a1. Alows bulding with clang linux/macOS and clang-cl for Windows. Even VS2019 but the compiler itself is broken. So this can still go on and be useable for a while.
