My ISP (OTEnet here in Greece) gives a full 1500 (i.e. 1472 bytes of data).
Just in case you are wondering, I used the "ping -f" method with it's main web server (www.otenet.gr), which failed above 1472 bytes.
Do'h! I mean to mention that this was over 56K (PSTN) dial-up. I can't test any ISDN as my NT/modem has gone wacky and wan't talk to the computer.
