Hi Carl,

FMPro 4.1 is not on a dedicated machine. In addition to hosting ebase, this same PC is
used for our dial-up connection to the net, proxy server and print server for
our main printer, and it is occasionally used as a workstation for misc tasks. With
256 MB RAM it is running VERY stable (it has not crashed once since we installed
the extra RAM 3 weeks ago). We average 4 clients on our peer-peer TCP/IP LAN using
ebase simultaneously. This PC also has hardware RAID 0 or 1 (I get those two
confused). We have static, non-routable IPs on the client PCs. We were thinking of
getting FM Server to help improve stability, but the RAM did the trick (at much
less cost). We also regularly use the "Registry Cleaner" module in the OnTrack Inc.
"FixIt 3.0" utility suite. This also seems to help keep this PC stable.

Let me know if you need other details.
