I would add to Carl's comments that you really don't want to revise
the Payment For list. As delivered, ebase offers three choices in
this field, Dues, Contribution, and Event/Purchase. The value of this
field determines how the payment gets handled in several important
ways
- which column the payment appears in on the View Payment screen (and
if it isn't one of the three default values, it doesn't appear in any
of them)
- which summary Fast Find Field (the gray area at the bottom of the
home screen) the payment gets accumulated into (and again, if it
isn't one of the three defaults, it doesn't show up in any of these
except those that accumulate all payments)
If you need more detail on what a payment is for, I'd use the Pay Memo field.
