it isn't the password problem. I am the only person in our office who knows
ebase and so I always am logged in under Master. what else could it be?

I believe this is a password issue. Try signing in with the "master"
password (or whatever it has been changed to). But be careful with the
replaces - for
example if you were to go into issues in your Activist layout, and do a
replace to tag everybody for a certain issue, that would get rid of any
preexisting
data in any of their other issue boxes.
