Jennifer,

Generally speaking, one should never replace a single file of the
twenty-some that make up the ebase database. One should only replace an
entire set of all twentysome files. There is a risk of serious corruption
of the database if you replace only one file. I'd definitely recommend
reverting to your most recent whole backup.

Subject: [support] My supervisor did a recovery and ebase is lost....

Help! Please, my supervisor was trying to send an email out yesterday from
ebase and somehow he ended up doing a recovery!!! The names file was
completely destroyed, I tried to copy and paste my back up names file but
when I opened ebase it just gives me a message that says "this field is not
modifiable" over and over and over again.

Does anyone know how I can solve this??? Do I need to delete all my old
files and replace them with my back up?
