I'm using ebase 1.03 on a Macintosh with FileMaker Pro 5.5.

I just tried to set up for multi-user access. I installed FMPro5.5
on each of the computers in our network. With ebase running on my
system, I started FMPro5.5 on the other computers in turn. I clicked
File/Open/Hosts and chose ebase from my computer.

The only problem is that after entering a medium level access
password, it asked me to type in the password again for every file
opened (9 or more). This did not happen if I typed in my master
password. Furthermore, after typing it in 9 times, it repeatedly
displayed a dialogue box saying "This field is not modifiable." It
did that about 9 times or so, and then said "No access" in the Names
file, even though the password I was using is set to have edit/add
access.

Any idea what's going on here?
