The phonelist output prints all the selected records. So you don't need filemaker. You need to do a fairly complicated query to select only the records that you want. It sounds like what you are trying to do would be easier if you used householding rather than the Name1, Name2 approach.
If both names are in one record then most of the canned printouts will include both names. You need filemaker to change layouts. Frequently explaining what you really want to do, as opposed to giving too detailed a prescription for what you want, will give experts a clue of what you really want.
