More than a complicated query, I think you would need to first crunch some data to get what you need. For example, use the FileMaker replace command (which you get to with the scripts menu) to replace the value of an unused field, one of the user fields for example, with a calculated result If(Exact(Last Name 2,Last Name 1),"Dupe,"") which will replace the value with Dupe if name 1 equals name 2.
