You lost us here

"All files should be set in File>Sharing to
Multiuser. Open all the files on the host computer (your choice).
You can do
both steps by running the script on the Admin screens which opens
all files
and sets them to multiuser. This is because the second computer
will be
unable to open any file not already open on the host. On the guest
computer,
start FileMaker and click the Hosts button in the Open dialog."
