Thanks, Walt, for cleaning up my garbled explanation. Yes, opening all files can be automated. But I'd only recommend it to someone very comfortable with scripting. There is a script called "820 - Open All" in v1.03 (and I think in the others). If you call it from the opening script it will do what you want. But then you'll need to repair the opening script to correct navigation problems caused by the change. Also, doing this will open all files on guests, too, unless you can use one of the status functions to prevent it.
