There are several sorts built into the list layout in the contacts 
file; last name, ascending or descending is one of them. Using the 
normal ebase login, the FileMaker menu commands are disabled in order 
to prevent accidental use of FileMaker features outside the ebase 
routines. (Delete All is a good example).

Presumably your request for zip sort relates to printing labels or 
something like that. To do that, you'll export the data to merge with 
a Word or Excel document. You can sort the exported data in whatever 
way you like.
