There are several sorts built into the list layout in the contacts file; last name, ascending or descending is one of them. Using the normal ebase login, the FileMaker menu commands are disabled in order to prevent accidental use of FileMaker features outside the ebase routines. (Delete All is a good example). Presumably your request for zip sort relates to printing labels or something like that. To do that, you'll export the data to merge with a Word or Excel document. You can sort the exported data in whatever way you like. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
