I'm not sure I would agree. Not sure what you mean by specific. The v1 query function is the normal means of searching in v2. You can search contacts or items, which is the equivalent of searching on the 3 query pages in v1. The found set gets saved, so you can narrow or expand the search later, which is the equivalent of answering Modify in the query dialog in v1. The single button Find in v1 is replaced by the quick find in v2.
