Hello all. I have used PFsense for years and love it. Yesterday I was trying to make Captive portal work for the first time. I was simply wanting it to work on the lan interface for anyone using the internet. I couldn't get it to work. I gave up and later that day I installed the squid package for other reasons. As soon as i setup the suid package, CP started working. I thought ot myself that this is strange. I uninstalled squid and CP quit working again. Does CP require squid to work? I really thought it didn't. Thanks for your help.
