In my experience, all SSDs are not to be trusted either :-( I have an OCZ Vertex 30 GB drive in my desktop as the boot drive. 4 months ago, the drive started dying ... then 2 months ago I got a new under RMA. I've been running on the new drive for 2 months without problems, and it just died too. Windows feezes up, then BSOD. POST won't even see the drive ... completely dead. (They have a jumper to make it boot from a failsafe drive BIOS, and that works. I can completely wipe the drive and get it working again ... that lasted 2 months on the previous drive).
