But you are right, I also haven’t managed to get from the Eigenmike the great 
sound quality I’ve heard from Soundfield recordings.

Exactly. An SF mike records over the complete musical spectrum. The Eigenmike tries to (via signal processing/HF correction) but doesn't do yet?

Too simplistic?
