Wow! Thanks to everyone for the information. Now I can dig that
drive out, and try it with a bit more hope.
I think if I get past the low level format (which I've never done,
oddly) I'll be ok.
To introduce myself, since I'm new, I'm a she, not a he. ;)
I picked the Nick Vrondi for IRC, since it's unusual.
umm, I've been using computers for about 13 years now. Grew
up on an original Tandy 1000, and PCjrs at school.
Still have the Tandy 1000. I also have a PS/2 model 70,
and a Tandy model 100 laptop.
But, I'm thinking of buying a Tany 1500 laptop.
Anyone here have experience with this one? Between the 1500, 1800,
and the 2810, is it hard to get batteries? how long do they last?
general pros/cons,etc...
